Privacy is the product.

Scanon.ai exists because most photos and videos contain more identifying information than the person sharing them realizes. We build AI tools that remove that information automatically — and we built them so we never have to see your files in the first place.

Why we built it

Journalists, activists, parents, and small teams kept reaching for the same thing: a fast way to anonymize media before posting, sharing, or filing. The existing options were either manual (slow), heavy desktop software (expensive), or cloud services that stored uploads indefinitely (the exact opposite of what privacy-minded users need).

Scanon.ai is our attempt at the simpler answer: an AI-powered face and license-plate blur tool that runs in your browser session, processes media in memory, and forgets it the moment your file is ready to download.

How we think about your data

No file is written to disk on our servers.
No account, email, or phone number is required to redact.
EXIF metadata is stripped before download.
All AI inference runs on our own infrastructure — no third-party model APIs.

Who we are

Scanon.ai is built by a small team of engineers and privacy researchers operating under Unlimited Coverage Cybersecurity LLC (Delaware, USA). We're beta and self-funded, which means we move quickly and answer email ourselves.
